About

This is a blog about the “normal” life of a cross-cultural, interfaith, family. My name is Ana and I’m a Romanian woman, married to an Israeli man, raising our little daughter, Sarah, and taking care of a very Dutch, ginger, cat, Mee.
Our life happens in the Netherlands, in a very family-oriented suburb of Amsterdam. In our house, one can hear English, Romanian, Hebrew and Dutch, but also Spanish, a bit of French, German, Russian or Africans.
Because of our origins, we spend our lives traveling between the Netherlands, Romania and Israel, upbringing our daughter in a very rich environment and teaching her to embrace diversity.
Like many of you, we would like our child to grow up in a world without borders, where being kind to your fellow humans, but also to animals or the nature are the prevailing values.
